Next-Gen Spectrum Management Goes Live in Saudi Arabia

In a major step towards modernising national spectrum operations, the Communications, Space & Technology Commission (CST) of Saudi Arabia has deployed a new Electronic Spectrum Management System (ESMS), delivered by ATDI with support from Elm.

Launched in September 2025, the system streamlines spectrum licensing, EMC analysis, and customer engagement, aligning with Saudi Arabia’s wider digital transformation objectives and international best practices.

The solution integrates a web portal with single sign-on, a centralised spectrum database with workflow management, and an HTZ-powered EMC tool for compatibility and interference analysis. CST confirms the system supports secure data migration, flexible service assignments, and full regulatory compliance, with adoption across all user groups.

ATDI Secures Strategic Win in SerbiaETV - Serbian National Broadcaster

ATDI has secured a new contract with ETV, the Serbian National Broadcaster, successfully replacing the incumbent supplier following a competitive evaluation.

Two HTZ Communications licences were deployed, supported by focused technical training to ensure immediate operational impact. HTZ was selected for its modelling precision, flexibility, and scalability, and now supports ETV’s national broadcast planning and frequency coordination.

With a maintenance contract in place and on-the-ground support from IBIS Instruments, ETV benefits from both regional responsiveness and direct ATDI expertise.

Albanian Media AuthorityATDI Renews Partnership with Albania’s Media Commission

ATDI has renewed its HTZ Communications maintenance contract with the AMA, the Albanian Media Commission, and has provided additional training to ensure continued operational efficiency.

HTZ underpins AMA’s broadcast planning and spectrum management activities, delivering accurate modelling and regulatory alignment. Support is delivered jointly by IBIS Albania and ATDI, ensuring both local responsiveness and specialist expertise.

Webinar: Assessing the Impact of Wind Farms on Aeronautical Radar Systems

As wind energy projects expand, so does the need to understand their impact on airport radar systems. Wind turbines can generate clutter, false targets, and tracking instability, creating operational and regulatory challenges for air navigation service providers and airport authorities.

Delivered in collaboration with CANSO, this webinar is available free of charge to the industry.

The session examines the technical mechanisms behind wind turbine interference and its effect on primary and secondary surveillance radars (PSR/SSR). It compares screening approaches, including the EUROCONTROL PSR/SSR framework, with detailed technical modelling techniques used for comprehensive impact assessments.

The webinar concludes with practical mitigation strategies to balance renewable energy development with airspace safety and radar integrity.
