Join ATDI as an RF Engineer in Washington, DC

ATDI is seeking an experienced RF Engineer to join our Washington office. This is a client-facing role that combines RF engineering expertise with consulting, software demonstrations, user training, and technical studies across both civil and defence sectors.

As part of our international team, you will work directly with customers and partners throughout North America and beyond, helping them apply ATDI’s industry-leading radio planning and spectrum management solutions to solve complex operational challenges.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver RF engineering consultancy and technical studies for government, defence, regulatory, and commercial clients.
  • Conduct radio network planning, spectrum management, interference analysis, and coverage studies.
  • Support field measurement campaigns, data analysis, and technical assessments.
  • Deliver software demonstrations, user training sessions, and technical workshops.
  • Assist with pre-sales activities, including solution presentations, technical proposals, and customer engagement.
  • Work closely with clients to ensure the successful implementation and effective use of ATDI software solutions.
  • Collaborate with colleagues across ATDI’s global offices on international projects and initiatives.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in RF engineering, wireless communications, radio planning, spectrum management, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of radio propagation, network design, and spectrum engineering principles.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to a wide range of audiences.
  • Experience working directly with customers, stakeholders, or end users.
  • Professional proficiency in English (written and spoken).
  • Eligibility to work in the United States.
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required.
