Webinar: Satellite coordination

March 10, 2022
|

The recording for this event is available here.

This event will look at how to manage satellite coordination using ATDI’s flagship spectrum engineering tool, HTZ and database management tool, ICS Manager.

This live session will include:

  • Managing coordination contours (APS7, ICS manager);
  • Connecting to an SRS database (ICS manager);
  • Importing satellites (GSO and NGSO) into HTZ;
  • Assessing compatibility between services:
    • Earth stations vs. fixed services sharing the same band;
    • Earth stations vs. mobile services share the same band.
  • Importing satellite tracks from TLE data;
  • Retrieving the min/max altitudes and associating them with the Earth station in beamforming mode for interference calculations.

Register for the event in your time zone.  The activation link will be sent once your registration is approved.

More about ATDI
ATDI provides cost-effective, accurate satellite frequency coordination solutions for GSO and non-GSO satellites.

HTZ is a comprehensive radio network planning tool that enables network operators to plan and model the satellite footprint. It also models and manages constellation interference and evaluates interference between the satellite and earth stations.

HTZ features advanced satellite network planning functions for GSO/non-GSO satellite operators, including:

  • GSO/non-GSO satellite coverage planning and link budgets
  • Wide-beam and HTS-beam planning across all satellite frequency bands
  • Connection and import of ITU SRS database and TLE files
  • Automated site planning, optimisation and frequency planning
  • GSO vs GSO and GSO vs non-GSO interference analysis
  • Satellite vs terrestrial co-existence analysis
  • Earth station coordination
  • DTH network planning
  • VSAT network planning and optimization
  • Covers all satellite services: FSS, BSS, MSS, Earth-exploration and meteorological.
